Juan Miguel de la Fuente graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo De Manila University School of Law. He is a senior partner at GRUBA LAW and specializes in both litigious and non-litigious matters in Taxation, Mergers and Acquisitions, Labour and Employment, Gaming, and Trademark Law.

He advises companies engaged in various business interests such as Banking, Gaming and Leisure, Insurance, Construction, Energy, and Water. He has been with Bayanihan Bank as one of its Directors for over a decade and has seen its clientele exponentially grow alongside with the bank. He sees education as a key factor in supporting rural development and this aligns with the core values of Bayanihan Bank in supporting and uplifting communities for rural economic growth.

Among other rural banks in the Philippines, he believes that it is Bayanihan Bank's employees that sets it apart from other banks. According to Mr. de la Fuente: "It's the employees themselves.
